Spring is almost here…whoosa! I am getting ready for my first weekend beach trip of the year to Ocean City, MD in May and I cannot wait! I love the beach, especially Myrtle Beach which I know inside and out. However, I am optimistic that Ocean City will be a pleasurable, unforgettable experience.
Here is my beach must haves checklist:
- Beach umbrellas
- Beach chairs
- Magazines & novels
- Sunscreen
- Beach ball & Frisbee
- Blanket
- IPod w/ mini-speakers
- Snacks, water & tasty refreshing cool drinks…yes!
My hunt for a fabulous deal on a 3 to 4 star oceanfront hotel resort is underway. I will:
1. Comparison shop at least 3 to 4 sites for the best deal on hotel cost including taxes and fees. My top choices so far are:
a. Budget Friendly Hotel Deals plus get $15 off with Code BUDGET15. Book Now!
b. Weekend Escapes for Less plus get $15 Off* with Code WEEKEND15. Book Now!
c. Plan the Resort Getaway of Your Dreams and Save $15 with Promo Code RESORT15. Book Now!
d. Save up to 35%* on CheapOstay Hotels. Use Promo Code SPRING15 to save more. Book Now!
2. Once you select the best hotel deal from a website, visit Retailmenot to find a promo/coupon code for additional savings. Type in name of website in search box (i.e.Hotels.com) and select from a variety of promo codes.
3. Check for resorts with ideal proximity to the Boardwalk and City Center, so all fun, games, food, shopping and everything else are right at my fingertips. More site choices are:
a. Hotwire: Get a 4-star hotel for a 2-star price. Save up to 50%!
b. Book Now and Save at hotels.com
c. Find hotel deals at Expedia!
4. Read to compare & contrast customer reviews to ascertain the cleanliness, service, condition, and comfort of several resorts. My last site choices are:
a. On 2000+ hotels up to 70% Off by Otel.com
b. Save up to 40% on Hotels. Get $15* Off with Promo Code USAHOTEL15 & $15 Instant Discount on Selected Hotels.Book Now!
May the best overall resort win my reservation......I'll keep you posted!
Yours in Savings,
MFrugalista
